Outdoor Dining in Nevada

Some of us have to wait…

For summer to finally roll around for our next outdoor dining experience. Some of us are lucky enough to live in a place where dining al fresco is a year-round option. With the dry desert heat and an average of 290 days of sun each year, Nevada happens to be a state that has year-round opportunities. Check out these popular outdoor dining spots in and around Las Vegas.

Olives: Las Vegas

offers great service and a quality dining experience. Though the spot is known for its Mediterranean cuisine (i.e., grilled octopus, salmon, and scallops over mushroom risotto) it also caters to those seeking “Authentic American cuisine.” The balcony overlooks the Bellagio Fountain which offers quite a show for diners enjoying their meals. Make note, however, if you are looking to sit on the balcony you should plan on arriving early in the evening (preferably before 7pm) as the outdoor seating is both popular and seated on a first come basis.

BRAVO! Cucina Italiana: Henderson

This upscale Italian chain restaurant proudly serves Italian classics with their own added touches. All dishes are made with the highest-quality ingredients and can be tailored to fit your needs. Located in Henderson at the Galleria at Sunset, their menu ranges from the house- made pasta and flatbreads to steak and seafood. The outdoor patio offers the opportunity to dine under the sky or, if you prefer, a shaded umbrella. It is a great spot to kick back and relax with family or a group of friends.

Picasso: Las Vegas

Another great location to view the Bellagio Fountain, this French and Spanish-influenced restaurant offers the perfect spot for a pre-theater or late night meal. The outdoor patio is open seasonally and has 16 tables available to guests. When the weather changes the restaurant does its best to accommodate diners with cool misters or heat lamps to ensure a comfortable dining experience.

The Slanted Porch: Fallon

If you are looking for something a little different and outside of the strip, head over to the Slanted Porch in Fallon. This quaint spot is dedicated to the “farm to table” way of dining. Everything that is growing on their farm will be used in dishes served at the restaurant. They also purchase from other local vendors in order to support the sustainability of local farms. Their outdoor seating area offers shaded dining with a shared, community table experience.
