Bill Bailey Litchfield Illinois Reviews Camp SoarThe Scott Outdoor Adventure Retreat (SOAR) in Litchfield, Illinois is the perfect location for a corporate retreat or your next special occasion. Whether you seek to find a quaint location for your next family reunion or the ideal gathering spot for your next corporate retreat, SOAR has everything you need to create a lasting experience.

Conveniently located between Springfield, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri, off of historic Route 66 and I-55, this charming retreat center has all a lot to offer. The Center is situated on a beautiful 70-acre campus that houses campgrounds and a number of event facilities. Onsite recreational amenities include fishing, boating, mini-golf, an outdoor swimming pool and a game room for gathering and for play.

There are a number of lodging opportunities available for your event as well, including:

Seven Cottages – This options includes seven fully furnished cottages located next to one of the many lakes on the property. Each cottage is fully furnished with a full kitchen, living area, Direct TV and DVD players, individual bathroom, an outdoor recreation area, picnic table and fire ring. Each cabin sleeps 2-6 and can be rented individually or as a group.

Five Cabins –Each one of the cabins has the ability to sleep 6 in bunk beds, has a kitchenette, TV/VCR, individual bathroom, an outdoor area with picnic table and fire ring. Bedding can be provided upon request.

Bungalow – The bungalow option is a fully furnished studio space available near one of the fishing lakes. It comes with a kitchenette, living area, DIRECTV and DVD player, bathroom and outdoor area. This space sleeps 2-6 and is ideal for personal retreats.

Savannah Place – If you are traveling with a large group, then this is the ideal lodging option for you. Nestled between two fishing lakes, this spacious four bedroom home can sleep up to 26 people. It offers scenic views of the grounds, comes with 2 living and dining areas, a bar, 2 ½ bathrooms, and features a bunk house that can sleep up to 16 people. There is also an outdoor patio that comes with a grill and a fire ring as well.
